arrival

After a long wait and a crowded flight, I finally arrived at the Alexandria airport around 5am - only four hours behind schedule. After a few hours of rest and a traditional breakfast, we are packed and ready to head to Cairo for sight seeing and visiting with a family friend. Of course, the hospitality is wonderful. Even at 5am I was met at the airport by Marwa's whole family, luggage was transported for me and I have my own room. I am so looking forward to the weekend of travel and tourism.
